| Pilates Mat 2-3 |
Description: This class is for students who have been working at Level 2 consistently and are ready to be pushed and learn some of the advanced Pilates Mat repertoire. You should be able to complete a Roll Up, Teaser, and Push Ups, and be comfortable with deeper backbending such as Swan.
All Pilates classes last 55 minutes. Please bring a yoga mat. All levels of Pilates classes may use of props either to make an exercise easier, increase the challenge, or to add variety. We provide the props which may include free weights, magic circles, foam rollers, therabands, and gym balls. Pilates is a progressive system, so what you learn in basics will be built upon in Level 1, and what you learn in Level 1 will be built upon in higher levels. Each level is progressively more challenging and faster-paced. Proficiency at one level is required before moving to the next level.
